Pause mid-recording
Stop to collect your thoughts, take a call, open the thing you forgot — then pick up where you left off. One recording, no seam.
Pause when you fumble, pick up where you left off, and stop to find the editor already open with the zooms in place. No cursor packs, no 3D frames, no captions to switch off.
Recording
A display, a single window, or an area you draw — with your camera and your microphone each recorded separately, so none of it is decided before you start.
Stop to collect your thoughts, take a call, open the thing you forgot — then pick up where you left off. One recording, no seam.
Add another recording straight into the project you are editing. A new section or a second pass at one step — it lands on the same timeline with the same look.
The camera is recorded separately and composited afterwards, so nothing about it is decided while you record. Show or hide it per clip, move it, resize it, reshape it, or fill the frame with it.
Keeps a desktop full of your filenames out of the video by leaving the icons out of the recording, not by moving them. Nothing on your screen changes.
Your microphone and the Mac’s own sound are recorded separately, so a deafening alert and a quiet voice are two problems you fix separately.
No import step, no render wait, no second app. Stop recording and you are already editing.
Editing
Clips, audio, zoom, blur. Every extra lane is one more thing to scan past on the way to the edit you came for.
Every click you make while recording is grouped and turned into a zoom that lands before the moment it matters, with motion blur while it moves. Every zoom is yours to drag, retime or delete.
Background, padding, corners and shadow belong to the clip, because a full-screen shot and a window shot want different backdrops. Fifty-two are built in.
On the canvas, the camera or a slide, across every project. Star one and every new clip starts with it.
Cover an email address or a customer name and it stays covered as the shot zooms and moves. Drag it on the picture, not into a box of numbers.
The pointer is drawn by the editor, not baked into the pixels. Make it bigger so it is easy to follow, smooth its path, and it stays the same size as the shot zooms in.
Cut the dead air automatically, take the room noise out of the microphone, even the levels, and duck the system sound under your voice.
Drop a slide anywhere on the timeline, set in one of six typefaces, with the same backdrops as the recordings.
The app
Built with Apple’s own frameworks for macOS 26 and Apple silicon, which is why it starts quickly, records without heating your Mac, and behaves like everything else on it.
Your recordings are files in a folder you can browse, move and back up. No account, no cloud, no telemetry — the only thing the app talks to is the App Store.
MP4, MOV or GIF — up to 4K at 60 fps, with the file size estimated before you commit. Or copy the finished video straight to the clipboard and paste it into a message.
Record and edit as much as you like, with no watermark and no time limit. You pay when the video leaves the app.
